Warbirds at EAA Airventure Oshkosh 2025
Sport Aviation, Vol 74, No 11, November 2025, pp 38-50.
Every year, scores of painstakingly restored and preserved former military aircraft come to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture, and 2025 was no exception. Their mission to breathe life into the history of combat aviation, to educate and inspire, and, most of all, to remember and honor all who served. This year marked the 80th anniversary of Allied victory in World War II, and the 75th of the start of the Korean War, so there was a special emphasis on the aircraft that served from 1945 to 1950. Here's a look back at just a few of our favorite warbird photos from EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025.
