Kevin: After a year and a half living in Mequon, WI, I wake up each morning and I think still 'I am on vacation.' Retirement is fun: I can sleep when I want, everyday is a Wednesday, I have no set schedule and nowhere to run. After practicing medicine for 36 years, I get to read topics that interest me: electronics, computers, politics: anything but medicine. I have started to prototype electronic circuits: so far I have managed to not electrocute myself or blow the circuits in the house.

Amy: She is more active than I. Finally, her health is stable with fewer visits to doctors. She had only two Emergency Department visits this year, which is progress! However, Amy has been healthy enough for travel to Mackinac Island, Lake Geneva, and Cancun Mexico. She fills her week with activities: going to Mass, Bible study, book club, playing harmonica, going to the gym, and spending time at the senior center.

Andre & Becky: Andre continues to work hard in architecture. He is a great Dad: his second job. Becky also works hard as an interior designer; and taking care of two very active toddlers. Eva is so verbal and intelligent: she reminds me of her Dad at the same age. Gracie is just starting to talk; but she is active trying to keep up with her big sister. They both attend a new day care which they enjoy.

Monique & JC: Monique is busy with two jobs: she runs her own wedding planner business and she works in a bridal shop selling dresses. JC runs a bar called Pufferfish, and spends a lot of time traveling as he erects pop-up bars in neighboring cities such as Chicago, Madison, and elsewhere.
